Color, consistency, and great fiber are the traits we most strive for here at Prairieland Peruvian Alpacas.

We process all of our fiber every year and are constantly working to improve fiber quality in our herd without sacrificing conformation. Working with so many fiber artisans who prefer natural color we maintain a herd with a variety of colors. 

We work with our alpacas daily to develop pleasant dispositions that make them easy to handle.
