Founded
in 2003 by Lita and John Murphy, Prairieland Peruvian Alpacas has
focused on establishing a small but elite herd of Peruvian
Alpacas.
Our
farm is dedicated to the evolution of the alpaca to develop the
finest fiber possible. While this is our main goal and that of the
alpaca industry, we remain dedicated to improving conformation and
creating a pleasant disoposition in our alpacas along with great
support - a combination that can't be
beat!
Prairieland
Peruvian Alpacas provides ongoing support to our customers. We offer
free transportation to your farm (up to 300 miles), and
shearing services (at our farm) for the first two years you
own your alpacas.
Your
Education in all aspects of raising alpacas, from assistance with
developing a business plan to farm layout and pasture management, we
are there to mentor you every step of the way.
